Mutsvangwa still Central Committee member

Senior Reporter
Zanu-PF secretary for legal affairs Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa last week said Mutare-Chimanimani Senator Monica Mutsvangwa was still a Central Committee member despite contesting for the provincial chairmanship last year. Sen Mutsvangwa lost the elections to Ambassador John Mvundura.

Cde Mnangagwa said her case was deliberated and resolved at the highest level in the ruling party.
In an interview on Wednesday, Sen Mutsvangwa said small personal issues must not be left to bring chaos within the party.

“My case was deliberated at the highest level in Zanu-PF and nothing has changed. I am still a Central Committee member. As a party we must work together and remain focused so that we uplift the lives of the majority,” she said.
