DYNAMOS players Murape Murape and Roderick Mutuma have buried their differences and worked together at the team’s training session yesterday afternoon ahead of a NetOne One Wallet semi-final clash against How Mine at Mandava.
The two players were involved in a training ground altercation, leading to their suspension, before the club’s leadership had a change of heart and nullified the ban.
Coach Callisto Pasuwa said the return of the two players, and those who had been injured, has given them more options.
“As you have seen, morale is very high and everyone is ready. And I think now we need to select guys who are ready in terms of fitness levels so that they put maximum effort.
“They (Murape and Mutuma) are back and they are training and we have to see their fitness levels,” said Pasuwa.
Mutuma and Murape played in the same side during the workout at Zimphos yesterday and didn’t show any signs of animosity towards each other.
There were concerns over Simba Sithole, who sat out of the training session, while Masimba Mambare and Clive Kawinga were absent.
Tawanda Muparati, Milton Makopa, Oscar Machapa and Sydney Linyama also trained and could be on the road to recovery.
“We are ready for the fixture and I think three quarters of the guys who were injured are back at training.
“We still have some players who on the injury list but it’s only about a quarter and we are still assessing them in terms of fitness.
Remember we lost some time when we failed to train in the past weeks. We need to catch up on the conditioning and we are trying to get back to expected levels in terms of fitness,” said Pasuwa.
The Dynamos coach is taking a cautious approach ahead of their tie against How Mine.
“I would not want to talk much about the opponents but all I can say is that we are ready for the Cup match. “This being a Cup game, we have to finish and get the result on the same day,” said Pasuwa.
