Muyambo, Chitengwa recalled

provisional squad that is expected to do duty for the country at the Zone VI Games that will start from April 13-15 at the Leisure Lodge Golf Resort on the south coast of Mombasa, Kenya.
The duo had a fallout with the local golf governing body the Zimbabwe Golf Association (ZGA) in the run up to the Africom Zimbabwe Open early this year, which led to them getting suspended from the tournament.
But it seems they have served their time and will now return to the sport on a national duty.
Muyambo has so far confirmed his availability for the tournament but Chitengwa is still doubtful, as he has since relocated to South Africa.
Chapman club golfer Muyambo was the captain of the national team last year only to be suspended just before the start of the biggest event on the domestic calendar the Zimbabwe Open.
Dale Howie is now the captain and is expected to receive support from other top local amateurs who are leading on the order of merit
Chapman Golf Club is continuing with its reputation of churning out the best players as has contributed five players to the Zimbabwe team.
The ZGA secretary Joe Sithole confirmed that the association’s president Martin Rateiwa announced a provisional eight member team that will do duty in the tournament that is expected to have more than 20 countries expected to take part.
“The ZGA has decided that the golfers will represent the country in the Zone VI.
“We wish this team all the best and we look forward to the team as it is made up of young players who are willing to learn.
“The annual tournament attracts entries from up to twenty different African countries.
“It is a team event in which participating nations accumulate points from individual matches between players representing these countries.
“The country scoring the most points wins and the defending champions are the host nation Kenya,” Sithole said.
