Highlanders goalkeeper Reward Muza, has landed himself in hot soup after skipping Monday’s training.
Monday coincided with Pieter de Jongh’s first day officially as Bosso’s coach as he had received his work permit after running the show on remote control in the last two losses.
When the player pitched up for training on Tuesday, the coach who is desperate to save Bosso from relegation, had a private discussion with him.
Muza is said to have displayed no respect for the coach and could not give a plausible excuse.
At Bosso, players are expected to provide sick notes for their absence or a tangible excuse but Muza appeared not to have either.
It could not be ascertained if the player trained yesterday.
Asked for comment, Bosso boss Kenneth Mhlophe said: “A difference in views between head coach and player cannot be stated as a clash.
“The club is supportive of divergent views within its technical team and playing staff and will always encourage constructive dialogue between the two.
“If one party oversteps then internal processes are initiated, which is not the case.”
Mhlophe said the coach and manager work closely in ensuring discipline within the team with the latter acting as the former’s eyes and ears at all times.
The chairman appeared to appeal for patience on matters to do with etiquette.
