DYNAMOS assistant coach Gift Muzadzi says experience is crucial for the team as they welcomed Simba Sithole and ex-CAPS United forward Dominic Chungwa at their training yesterday.Chungwa had been involved in a dispute with Makepekepe over the move as he claimed the club breached their side of the bargain.
However, his determination finally paid off as CAPS United officials also confirmed his departure yesterday.
But while Chungwa’s deal is good as sealed, Sithole is still to agree terms with the Premiership reigning champions.
Sithole’s manager, Gibson Mahachi, yesterday said it was only sensible that the striker gets down to training in order to maintain good shape while negotiations continue.
Muzadzi told The Herald that the club needed such experienced players to strike a balance following the departure of key players like Ronald Chitiyo, Devon Chafa, Washington Pakamisa, Tawanda Muparati and Thomas Magorimbo.
“Dominic and Simba trained with the boys. They started today (yesterday) and when you see players coming for training it means something is being agreed on or that the deals have been finalised.
“As a team you need all those guys who are experienced so that there is a good mixture in the team. It also helps to create competition because this is a big team.
“We need to look at other few areas we need to add but the coming of these two gives coaches more options in terms of attack. But our main worry here is the slots.
“We are limited by slots because we have a few left,” said Muzadzi.
Out-of-contract forwards Russell Madamombe and Rodreck Mutuma began training with the side last week although talks for an extension to their deals are still to be concluded.
