Mwaruwari to watch City-Liverpool tie

Online Reporter
FORMER Warriors captain Benjani Mwaruwari will watch this evening’s big match between Manchester City and Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

The big match has seen several former players make their way and among them is former Liverpool and Wales forward Craig Bellamy (in the picture) with Mwaruwari.

Mwaruwari joined City in January of 2008 and is best remembered for his hattrick against Manchester United in the derby that makes him an iconic figure at the Etihad.
The club has provided him with a ticket to sit in the Directors’ Box.

Local legends are not given the same treatment by their former teams in Zimbabwe.

In an interview with Zimpapers online, Benjani has predicted that City will beat Liverpool 2-1.
