THE wait for MWOS to play their first game in the capital is finally over.
Punters are going to experience the threat posed by the capital-based teams at their fortress when their make their first trip to Harare against Yadah on Saturday.
The Miracle Boys will welcome the Castle Lager Premiership leaders at the Heart Stadium.
The two sides are on their highway to different destinations.
MWOS have registered 40 points in 19 assignments and their the points ahead of Simba Bhora who are the closest rivals in the championship race.
Yadah are sitting third from the basement and they know that anything short of a positive result will worsen their bid to maintain their PSL slot for next season.
Lloyd Mutasa’s men hosted four of the clubs from the capital Dynamos, CAPS United, Scottland and Yadah in the first half of the campaign.
Herentals were supposed to become the first club to host the Norton side in the capital but they opted to play that fixture at Wadzanai in Shamva.
Interestingly, the last time that MWOS played at the Heart Stadium lost to Scottland when the two sides were battling for a top-flight spot last season in the ZIFA Northen Region Division One Soccer League.
Mutasa’s men floored Yadah 2-0 in the reverse fixture.
Former Yadah midfielder, Tinotends Mutyambizi who has been one of MWOS’s better players was shown a red card in that fixture.
And, all eyes will be on him again this weekend as he also survived a red card scare last week on their 1-0 win against Bikita Minerals.
Mutyambizi told Zimpapers Sports that his teammates are excited to play their first game in Harare.
“It’s a great feeling to play in Harare and we can not say we are away from home become that is where most of us were born and raised. Everyone is very excited,” said Mutyambizi.
“Yadah will always have a special place in my heart because they signed when I was being rejected by several PSL clubs.
“We are going there for maximum points but it does not mean I want Yadah to be relegated.
‘‘They are a team that knows how to survive and I know it is just a matter of time before they start getting the desired results.”
