Chipo Mukorama
A WOMAN claims her husband forced her to accept the presence of his girlfriend.
Rutendo Nyakarombu appeared at the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against her husband Onias Mukodzani.
She said:
“He is in the habit of threatening to kill me with an axe every time.
“He slaps me in front of our children,” she said.
In response, Onias denied the allegations raised by his wife.
“I have never threatened to kill her with an axe and she appeared before this court to try and cover her tricks as she is the one having affairs.
“I have no problem with the court granting her the order, she is the one threatening my peace.”
Magistrate Meenal Naratom granted Rutendo’s request for a protection order.
