A WOMAN says her husband abandoned her for four years but now he is back and the first thing he demanded on his return was sex.
Precious Machacha has now approached the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order from her husband Christopher Dzenga.
Magistrate Meenal Naratom granted her a protection order.
“Christopher abandoned me for four years, leaving me to suffer with the children.
“He has no shame and he is now coming to my house demanding sex claiming we are still married since we are not legally divorced.
“When l tell him to use protection he refuses, which is unfair because he does not want to go for HIV testing.
“The last time he came to my house he raped me whilst holding a knife saying he would stab me if l ever tried to act smart.
“He insults my relatives claiming that they raised a prostitute.”
Precious added:
“He claims I am still his property and I am now forced to vacate my house as l am afraid that one day he will kill me after I deny him sex.
“For the four years he was away, he blocked me and now he wants to come and order me to do things. “My prayer is for the court to protect me from Christopher.”
Christopher said he did not deny the allegations but claimed that Precious was still his wife.
“I was not served with any divorce papers, which clearly means l am still her husband.
“She is still my wife and l have every right to get intimate with her.”
