MUSICIAN Mzoe 7 has extended his hand to the pool fraternity with a a�?Play Pool, Drugs Kill,a�? tournament.
The tournament is set to have 10 players from different Bulawayo townships when the final comes alive in December on a date yet to be announced.
So far the player selection process has been done in Entumbane where more than 50 potential players competed for the final 10 slots.
a�?After the Entumbane top 10 selection process, we noticed that therea��s interest in the tournament. Youngsters some as young as 10 years of age showed interest,a�? he said.
The idea of the tournament is to keep youths off the streets as such more sponsorship is needed.
a�?I am the sole sponsor of the tournament. I make sure that every show I perform in, I direct some money towards the tournament. But sponsors are free to join as December approaches,a�? he said.
Born Mzobanzi Mlauzi (23), Mzoe 7 is known for his hit-song Kwasa-Kwasa.
