RENOWNED creative Madlela Skhobokhobo has heaped praise on versatile artiste Mzoe7, applauding his energetic performance at the AmaTshitshi Cultural Festival over the weekend.
In a rare display of artistes celebrating one another, Madlela went a step further by offering Mzoe7 a sponsored trip to South Africa, where he can unwind after what he described as a sterling performance.
Madlela said the gesture was his way of recognising Mzoe7’s talent and encouraging him to continue pushing the boundaries in his career.
Taking to social media, Madlela described Mzoe7 as a “beast on stage” while playfully offering him a ticket aboard a bus to Johannesburg.

For Mzoe7, the recognition was particularly meaningful as it came from a fellow artiste who has also made his mark in the creative industry.
“I’m really honoured by this gesture. It’s not every day that artistes appreciate each other. I was really touched. I delivered a great performance and Madlela awarded me with a sponsored trip. He gave me my flowers while I can still smell them,” he said.
