MUSICIAN Mzoe7 has urged youths to use social media responsibly and shun activities that promote illicit lifestyles.
Speaking after a performance at the Winter Concert held at Fellowship City Church recently, Mzoe7 said youths are increasingly being exposed to unethical practices that are eroding the essence of Ubuntu.
The event, which was filled with worship, praise and fellowship, brought together schoolchildren from different backgrounds and was graced by Minister Mpume, Tojey Blox and Esther Grace.
“We live in an era where technology is rapidly evolving and, in that manner, youths are exposed to too many things on social media platforms. It is my plea that they use these platforms responsibly for things like research, development and communication.
“I am humbled to be mentoring fellow youths in Zimbabwe, as they are the future leaders of our communities and the country. A well-informed, focused and educated youth will bring forth the best leaders in our communities.
“I commend Scripture Union for organising such events, as they build confidence in our society and among students. This is part of my 2026 initiatives, which are to tour schools, talking to and inspiring students to do better and say no to drugs,” said Mzoe7.
