Naaz to hold Olympic training camp

Wirimayi Zhuwawo – qualified for the multi-sport event, which will run from July 27 to August 12. Naaz director for coaching, talent identification and development, Tendai Tagara said the camp was meant to bring the athletes together since they are training with their personal coaches at the moment.
“We are going to have a training camp in Nyanga in April for the marathon athletes. We are likely to make it two weeks and then release them to train with their personal coaches. So far, no woman has qualified but there are potential qualifiers like Sharon Tavengwa and Thabita Tsatsa,” said Tagara.
