NAC engages traditional leaders in fight against HIV and AIDS

The National Aids Council (NAC) has engaged traditional leaders from Mashonaland East province in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

NAC held a sensitisation meeting for the Chiefs in Macheke today, where it introduced the “Not in my Village” programme to the traditional leaders, which aims to encourage them to take an active role in the fight against HIV and AIDS in their areas of jurisdiction.

The traditional leaders pledged their unconditional support for NAC’s programmes.
