NACZ arts director, Gotore represents Zimbabwe at global arts fellowship in Vietnam

NATIONAL Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) Director of Arts Promotion and Development, Mrs Barbara Gotore, is representing Zimbabwe in Vietnam at the in-person International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) GLOBUZ Fellowship, bringing together delegates from 15 countries, the country’s arts governing body has revealed.

The fellowship is aimed at strengthening regional and international peer networks while fostering collaboration among arts and culture professionals from across the globe.

As part of the programme, delegates are attending the 4th Da Nang Film Festival and taking part in a series of cultural and educational field visits. These include tours of the Cham Sculpture Museum, a traditional Pottery Village, Hangart Da Nang, The Tham-Ha Gallery and the ancient town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mrs Gotore’s participation underscores Zimbabwe’s continued commitment to international cultural engagement as the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe seeks to create new opportunities for the country’s creative industry through global partnerships and knowledge exchange. –
