Nash national under 15 soccer tournament kicks off in Mutare

NATIONAL Association of Secondary School Heads (NASH) Under-15 ball games’ finals have started on Thursday morning at Mutare Boys High pitting teams from the country’s 10 provinces.

Both boys and girls are competing in the championships.
Somvubu from Matabeleland North are the defending champions in the girls’ category while Rusununguko are defending boys champions.

James Muhala the Zifa coach educator said that he is excited to be in Mutare selecting talent for national teams in the future.

“From these games we want to come up with selections which we will keep in our bag as talent for national teams,” said Muhala.

In the boys category Gifford is representing Bulawayo, Allan Willson (Harare), Chiedza Karoi (Mashonaland West), Greater Heights (Mashonaland East), Somvubu (Matabeleland North), Masera (Matabeleland South), Mweyamutsvene (Manicaland), Mutare Boys High (Manicaland), Pamushana (Masvingo), Guinea Fowl (Midlands), Rusununguko (Mashonaland Central)
Mpopoma (Bulawayo), Mabvuku ( Harare), St Eric (Mashonaland West), Goromonzi (Mashonaland East), Mangubeni (Matabeleland North), Somvubu (Matabeleland North), Dekezi (Matabeleland South), Nyamahuru (Manicaland), Mutare Girls High (Manicaland), Rufaro (Masvingo), Murerezi (Midlands) and Gweshe (Mashonaland Central) are the girls’ teams taking part.
