Resurgent urban grooves artiste Nasty Trixx has formed a band to help him stage better live perfomances. The pint-sized Nasty Trixx – real name Trust Dojiwe – revealed to The Herald Entertainment that it had always been in his plans to have a five member band in his arsenal.

“It has always been my dream to have a live band that would be an integral part of my act and I’m glad that my dream has become a reality as I have already procured the equipment and recruited members”, said Nasty.

The “Chidanger” hit-maker pointed out that his troops were already rehearsing and would be starting live performances in March.

“At the moment we have not yet commenced live performances as a group but we are currently polishing our act and we will be coming out in full force by the beginning of March,” said Nasty Trixx.

Nasty Trixx has two albums and three singles to his name and has already released a third one for 2014 entitled “Tsaga Era” which has 15 tracks that include collaborations with Tony G, Madiz, Russo, Willom Tight and Malvin S.

The urban groover had been quiet for a while.

“I was still involved in music and some of the tracks on the latest album date as far back as 2006 while others were done in 2010. I had taken a back seat but I had not entirely abandoned ship”, said the Gweru-based artiste.

Nasty Trixx hogged the limelight with the album, “Kupinda Newe” which he did in 2002 and had many hits thereafter which were popular among the youths.
