DYNAMOS boss Aristica Cioaba is convinced midfielder Nathan Mutasa will play a role at the club if he forgets the past and tries to integrate well into the new system.
The former Scottland midfielde, who is on loan at DeMbare, was an unused substitute at Rufaro on Sunday where the Glamour Boys were held to a goalless draw by Simba Bhora.
Cioaba, who has only known the player for a few days, described him as “nice character”.
“Nathan is a talented player. I like him but I don’t understand his background story.
“He has quality but he needs to change his mentality.
“I will try to change that, to get him coming to training and working hard.
“It’s simple, come to training, work hard and play football. I think in the future he can become not just a good player, but possibly a great one.
“I said this when I arrived, forget your situation in the past… You must understand that in this group, everyone is equal.
“If you are good and train hard, I will give you chances.” He added:
“I don’t listen to outside pressure about who should play. For me, the group is the same, everyone is good.
“Whoever performs well in training will get their chance.
“I don’t play names; that is my philosophy.”
