The listed firm has since invited experts to share tips and ideas about profitable farming with farmers in the region free of charge.

This month’s focus is on Zvishavane after rolling out similar engagements in Harare, Bulawayo and Mutare.

“Every farmer is invited to the National Foods Stockfeeds Fair. There will be fun games, a petting zoo and jumping castles for the children. 1 000 Day Old chicks are also to be given away as a way of empowering some lucky farmers.

“Our aim here is to educate farmers on how to get the best through optimum yields. This programme doesn’t just end here as farmers can still get in touch with us on social media, offices and hotlines,” it said.

The fair will have live animal displays and testimonials from farmers who have actually used the products.

“The event will start at 9am and will run until 3pm.

“The public will also have an opportunity to ask technical advisors, suppliers and vets any questions they may have regarding livestock rearing from poultry, pigs, dairy cows, beef cows, dogs, rabbits, sheep and even wildlife just to mention a few. We produce feed for every type of livestock including wildlife,” said the company. —@Kiyaz_Cool
