adminMashonaland East and Matabeleland South have so far confirmed their participation. Participants will battle it out in 10 weight categories from lightweight to heavyweight division.
Kamangira said they are happy with the response they have received form the provinces.
“Most of the provinces that have confirmed there are the ones that are more active but we hope that those that still developing will come for the championships because this is a big event.
“We want to distinguish upcoming fighters. This year we witnessed other countries participating in the world cadet championships and we would also want to have our own taking part in the next edition.
“The provinces can bring as much fighters as they want, we are not limiting the number because they may want to field fighters in all the categories,” said Kamangira.
The Zika president said they would have wanted to see the championships being hosted by different province but lack of resources has seen the event being held in Harare over the years.
“We should be moving the championships from one province to another but the problem is that the provinces do not have the resources that is why we always hold the tournament in Harare because we have partners who support us in terms of the venue.
