National Pledge on opening day

Most schools around the country held a National Pledge ceremony on opening day. Pupils were required to recite the national pledge. Some parents turned up at the schools to witness their kids taking the pledge.There is a court case pending in which a parent has sued the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education for making his children learn the National Pledge. — CLS.
