NDLOVU MAKES U-TURN! BOSSO CEO STAYS ON,  Drama as leaked resignation sparks boardroom storm

HIGHLANDERS UFootball Club has pulled a surprise move. Acting CEO Kindman Ndlovu is staying put after sensationally withdrawing his resignation.

Just days after a leaked letter exposed tensions in the Bosso camp, the club announced on Tuesday that Ndlovu will continue steering the ship as acting Chief Executive Officer.

Bosso, in a statement, said Ndlovu’s about-turn came after “successful internal engagements” and that he will remain in the post until such a time the substantive CEO is engaged.

Ndlovu, who also serves as the club’s Executive Member for Technical and Development, reportedly clashed with Executive Member for Finance, Nkani Khoza, prompting last week’s shock resignation which has now been swept under the rug.

The club did not address the serious allegations of meddling that Ndlovu raised about Khoza.

In a classic climbdown, Ndlovu has apologized to Khoza and the club for the confusion sparked by the leaked letter.
“Mr Ndlovu duly retracts his resignation letter and apologises for any inconvenience the resignation letter caused after its unfortunate leak to the public,” read the club’s statement.

The leadership also called for unity, preaching peace and professionalism going forward.

More drama expected behind the scenes. Watch this space.
