MPUMALANGA Black Aces marksman Tendai Ndoro has done well in his short time in South Africa. Ndoro has been in scintillating form since arriving in the Absa Premier Soccer League at the beginning of the year. The Warriors striker is a natural forward who can score even when least expected. He has proved himself with seven goals since February.
His statistics compare favourably with those who have been playing from the beginning of the season last year.
The Golden Boot winner, Kaizer Chiefs’ Benard Parker scored 10 goals the the league.
The former Chicken Inn hitman told Chronicle Sport: “This was a great second half season for the team even though we had some difficulties to win in the beginning of the year but we are happy we showed more character.
“I enjoyed playing good football ever since I joined Aces and I believe my contribution was essential. My contract ends in June next year, for all the remaining months I will go back to the drawing board and try my best to rectify all the mistakes preparing for my second season with Amazayoni as they are affectionally called.”
Ndoro said he will work extra hard during the off-season and try to win silverware for his team next season and challenge for the Golden Boot award.
He is happy that they finished in the top eight and believes that there is room for improvement especially with great players and coach Clive Barker who is a good motivator.
