WARRIORS gaffer Michael Nees selected Warriors to do battle ahead of next month’s international friendlies.

The team is a mix of seasoned firepower and fresh blood!

The national team is gearing up for two crucial clashes in Morocco: a June 6 face-off against Burkina Faso, followed by a June 10 duel with Niger. And guess what? The big guns are back!

Veteran shot-stopper Elvis Chipezeze, midfield wizard Bill Antonio, and goal-hungry Tino Kadewere make a thunderous return to the squad, ready to reignite the Warriors’ flame.

Nees has cast his net wide, pulling talent from local PSL stars to Europe-based sensations, with Khama Billiat, Prince Dube, and teenage dynamo Sean Fusire all getting the nod.

Here’s the 27-man arsenal Nees is banking on:
Goalkeepers:
Washington Arubi (Marumo Gallants), Elvis Chipezeze (Magesi), Marley Tavaziva (Brentford)
Defenders:
Teenage Hadebe (Cincinnati), Gerald Takwara (Al Minaa SC), Munashe Garananga (FC Copenhagen), Isheanesu Mawuena (Simba Bhora), Peter Muduhwa (Scotland), Godknows Murwira (Scotland), Emmanuel Jalai (Dynamos)
Midfielders:
Mthokozisi Msebe (Scotland), Khama Billiat (Scotland), Richard Hachiro (Ngezi Platinum), Jonah Fabisch (FC Aue), Donald Mudadi (Simba Bhora), Sean Fusire (Sheffield Wednesday), Daniel Nemadmi (Marumo Gallants), Bill Antonio (KV Mechelen)
Forwards:
Prince Dube (Young Africans), Tawanda Maswanhise (Motherwell), Walter Musona (Scotland), Tawanda Macheke (TelOne FC), Tino Kadewere (Nantes)
With the Warriors looking to sharpen their claws ahead of World Cup qualifiers, these friendlies are a proving ground.
Can Nees get the boys firing on all cylinders? Watch this space!
