Nemaramba head releases gospel album

NEMARAMBA Primary School headmaster in Chimanimani District has released a gospel album, “Somebody”.Luckmore Maringapasi recorded the six-track album at the newly registered recording studio in Nyanyadzi, Love Mhare Mhenyu Studio.

This is his first album and he was helped by his daughter, Vimbai Maringapasi and Victor Chinoka, a guitarist.
The six tracks are “Hama Dzangu”, “Huya Uponeswe”, “NaJesu”, “Vhangeri”, “Somebody and Somebody“ (instrumental).
Maringapasi said he inherited the singing talent from his late father.
“Music has always been a family thing. I inherited it from my late parents. I started singing when I was in kindergarten. My children have taken it from me,” he said.

He added that he had started working on the next four-track album which he is looking forward to release in the next two months.

“Within the next two months, we will be done with another four-track country music album. I hope that in the next five years I would have recruited more band members. My main focus is not on gospel music only, but also country music,” he added.
