ZIMBABWE senior netball team player, Sharon Bwanali, said she was not distracted by the introduction of new players ahead of their qualification for the 2023 Netball World Cup.

Speaking to H-Metro, Bwanali said she was happy with the way the new additions blended into the side.

She said they also learnt new things from the recruits. “As team members, we must have one heartbeat in order to be successful at the end of the match.

“I don’t know how to explain it, but if we put our heads together, nothing is impossible, we can conquer anything,” said Bwanali.

“The way we played during the Netball World Cup Qualifiers testifies to what I am talking about. “We were united.

“It would have been embarrassing for us to fail to qualify for a tournament next door after we had qualified for the 2019 edition,” she said.
