THE Castle Lager Premiership MatchDay 11 results for today have left Mutare top-flight league side Manica Diamonds with a real chance to close the gap between them and the three teams above them on the log standings.

With the Gamecocks suffering a surprise 0-3 defeat at the hands of lowly Hwahwa, Dynamos settling for a goalless stalemate against Ngezi Platinum and Triangle’s loss to Herentals, Manica Diamonds now only need to collect maximum points in their match against Bulawayo Chiefs tomorrow at Sakubva Stadium to leapfrog Triangle into third position.
A win against Chiefs at Sakubva tomorrow will also leave the diamond miners just a point behind DeMbare and the Gamecocks.
