Africa Albida Tourism (AAT) has once again cemented its position as one of the leading players in Zimbabwe’s hospitality industry after sweeping multiple awards at the 2025 Association of Zimbabwe Travel Agents (AZTA) awards.

The prestigious event occurred on September 21 at a Harare restaurant under the theme “Country and Western.”

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, AAT’s flagship property, clinched the coveted award for Best Resort Hotel for an unprecedented 26th consecutive year.

This remarkable achievement comes as the iconic lodge prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary on December 14.

Over the years, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge has become synonymous with exceptional service, breathtaking views of wildlife and a commitment to sustainable tourism.

Lokuthula Lodges, another AAT property, also secured a significant win, being named Best Self-Catering Facility for the 10th year.

This award recognises the facility’s dedication to providing diverse and flexible accommodation options that cater to families and independent travellers.

Wendy Bourne, an AAT sales executive, was honoured with the Most Outstanding Voluntary Service to Travel Agents award for the 12th time.

This recognition highlights her invaluable contributions to the industry and her unwavering commitment to supporting travel agents.

Ross Kennedy, AAT’s director, expressed his gratitude for the awards, emphasising the team’s dedication and passion for delivering world-class experiences.

“This recognition reinforces our commitment to maintaining the high standards that our guests have come to expect while continuing to innovate,” he said.

He also highlighted the importance of these awards as the company approaches Victoria Falls Safari Lodge’s three-decade anniversary.

Nigel Frost, AAT’s managing director, echoed Kennedy’s sentiments, thanking the AZTA members and the travel sector in Zimbabwe for their continued support.

He congratulated Bourne on her award and expressed excitement about AAT’s future plans.

AAT operates a portfolio of world-renowned properties in Victoria Falls including Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Victoria Falls Safari Club, Victoria Falls Safari Suites, Lokuthula Lodges, The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show and the Victoria Falls Safari Spa.
