South Africa-headquartered company, Agilitee Africa, has launched Africa’s first DVB – T2 full AI Smart Television Set, with the product set to be unveiled in Zimbabwe.
The TV has an ISO approval, and is the new generation of television sets that use telematics for voice recognition and instruction remote system.
This means one can instruct the TV using his or her voice, among other features.
In a statement mailed to The Sunday Mail Online, Agilitee Africa said the TV has other cuttung-edge features.
“As an extra for those who are in power troubled arrears, the TV can work through solar and its battery never loses its power.
“This means you can play it in the desert even in cold weather as the battery powers as it is being used.
“This is the first of its kind in Africa,” said the company.
Agilitee Africa, which also specialises in electric vehicles (EVs) has appointed Zimbabweans, former Energy and Power Development Minister, Mr Fortune Chasi and EVs expert, Mr Tanaka Kutama, among their executives.
The company has plans to set up an electric vehicles assembly plant in the country in a development earmarked to create hundreds of jobs.
