NEW: Artiste Peter Moyo ventures into transport business

Online Reporter

SUNGURA artiste Peter Moyo recently acquired a second-hand commuter omnibus, achieving his boyhood dream of venturing into the transport and logistics business.

As an artiste, I am doing very well. However, I decided to go into the transport and logistics business to fulfil a long-cherished dream,” he said.

“I only become a musician because my father was into music. I have always wanted to be a transport mogul and the acquisition of the vehicle marks the beginning of my journey into business.

Peter is son to the late sungura icon Tongai Moyo.

He hopes to strike a balance between music and running a transport company.

“I will never ditch my music career for anything. Instead, I will strike a balance between the music and the transport business so that when I become old and can no longer perform live, I will earn my keep through the transport business,” added Moyo.

He urged other musicians to venture into business.
