WATER levels in the country’s major dams continue to rise due to rainfall activity across the country.

In an update on Thursday, the Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) said as at December 28, 2022 “water levels in the dams remain on an upward trend”.

“The national dam level average is now 81,3 percent, and is above the 59,7 percent expected during this time of the year,” said ZINWA.

It also indicated that some dams such as Rusape Dam, Wenimbe Dam and Bangazaan Dam are already full and spilling.
