ARSENAL striker Leandro Trossard’s wife gets over the end of their marriage by taking up tennis.
Laura Hilven, 33, has become a regular on the courts at a David Lloyd health and fitness club.
A source said: “She’s very passionate about the game and particularly loves the physical side of it.
“Laura likes to go to the tennis club at least two or three times a week, sometimes more, and she gets on really well with the coaches.”
She has posted pictures on her Instagram account showing her playing.
One picture shows her sitting on a chair on a tennis court and holding a racquet with the caption: “All you need is passion. If you have a passion for something, you’ll create the talent.”
Laura has also posted pictures of her at last year’s Wimbledon — but she has since deleted any showing 31-year-old Premier League star Trossard with her.The Sun on Sunday revealed last week that their marriage was in crisis after Laura removed all traces of Trossard — including their wedding pictures — from her Instagram.
Laura later confirmed she had split from the forward, saying online: “With deep love, care, and respect for one another, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to separate amicably.
“This was not a choice made lightly. In fact we have been separated for some time now, and during that period we have taken the space and time needed to navigate this privately and thoughtfully. “Our decision comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire to create the healthiest and happiest future for everyone involved.”
The couple, from Belgium, have been married since 2019 and have two children, aged nine and three. Laura Hilven, 33, deleted wedding pictures and has not posted any images wearing her ring since December. Fellow Belgian Laura has also removed pictures of herself with Trossard posing in Arsenal shirts at the club’s Emirates Stadium in North London. The pair have been married since 2019 and would have been a couple for 13 years next month.
A source said: “Laura used to have loads of pictures on her Instagram showing her and Leandro on their wedding day, on holidays and going out on date nights, but she has wiped them all.
“If someone looked at her profile now, they would have no clue that they had ever been together, let alone married.”
Blonde Laura previously used her Instagram to showcase their happy life — regularly posting loved-up snaps of them together to her 35,000 followers. Her now-deleted posts include a snap from Leandro’s proposal in June 2018.
Other deleted posts showed the couple enjoying holidays in Ibiza and other sunkissed locations around the world.
Tennis fan Laura also erased any evidence of Trossard’s presence on a hospitality trip to the Wimbledon championships last year — despite him previously appearing in numerous images she posted from their day at the All England Club.— Sun.
