President Mnangagwa has elevated Provincial Development Coordinators to Secretaries for Provincial Affairs and Devolution.

In a statement on Thursday, Chief Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda, said the changes bring more responsibility to the offices.

“The President, in view of the enhanced and critical role of the Provincial Development Coordinators in the planning and implementing of Provincial and Devolution Programmes, has approved the elevation of the 10 Provincial Development Coordinators across all provinces in Zimbabwe,” Dr Sibanda said.

The Secretaries for Provincial Affairs and Devolution will continue to report to their respective Ministers of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution.
