THE final list of 10 groups expected to battle it out in the Chibuku Road to Fame Manicaland provincial finals on Saturday is out, with preparations for the annual event at an advanced stage.
This year’s edition will be held at Nyausunzi Beerhall in Sakubva.
National Arts Council of Zimbabwe Manicaland regional manageress, Caroline Makoni today said the groups were drawn from various districts in the country.
The 10 are Black Arrows Band, Mbakuchengure, Chiparurangoma Band, Mbira, Chakoblaqs Band, Blacktrek Ban, Maninja Express Band Chipinge, Eastern Vibration Band, Deze raWasu, Muisanga Band, MACCA Sensational Band and Mnenga Band.
The event starts at 10am.
The competition is a partnership between National Arts Council of Zimbabwe and Delta Beverages, with the former being the technical partner, while the latter is the sponsor.
