NEW: Corporate Governance Awards set for Wednesday

The Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute (CGI Zimbabwe) will, on Wednesday host the ninth edition of the Excellence in Corporate Governance Awards (ECGA). 

The awards were introduced in 2013, with the objective of promoting good corporate governance practices in the country. 

Said the event organisers: 

“The awards recognise efforts of corporate boards for effectively leading their organisations in a sustainable, innovative and ethical way. 

“Over the past nine years the ECG Awards have become Zimbabwe’s most prestigious awards for corporate governance.” 

The awards are presented to banks, insurance companies, parastatals and Zimbabwe Stock Exchange-listed companies.
