The Judicial Service Commission is in discussion with Harare City Council for land to build a new court in Hopley as part of the Government’s thrust to bring justice closer to the people.
During a full council meeting yesterday, Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume said the city is facilitating land for the construction of a court in Hopley.

“We had a meeting with the acting Chief Justice yesterday and this was followed up with the application to construct a court in Harare South, Hopley,” he said.

“This comes after we had facilitated land for the JSC to build a court in Mabvuku. Now they have come back again so that we can facilitate land for another court.
