LOCAL infrastructure and connectivity firm Dark Fibre Africa (DFA) Zimbabwe has connected over 1 500 people through wireless solutions to areas where it is not feasible to provide fibre services.

During the launch of Future-Proof Digital Solutions, DFA chief executive officer Mr Simon Chimutsotso said they deployed an extensive wireless solution across the underserved and unserved areas in the country.

“DFA Zimbabwe has connected over 1 500 customers through wireless solutions. This enables us to provide solutions to areas where our fibre has not reached or where it is not feasible to provide fibre services,” he said.

He said they deployed a long-haul network connecting South Africa through Beitbridge to Bulawayo, Harare, Victoria Falls and eventually Zambia.
