ASPIRING sungura musician Stephen “Dr Steve” Pedzi last week dropped his sixth album titled “Chamboko Chamufiti”.

Songs on the new project include “Uchinge Wandida”, “Pandatadza Ndiudzeiwo” featuring Nicholas Zacharia, “Zvinondinetsa”, “Kurarama Kwakanaka”, “Haana Kuzvarwa Akadaro” and “Sezvamakareva”.

Dr Steve said the album title is a warning to his detractors.

“There are some people that are jealous and have always criticised my decision to be a musician from the start and I am dedicating this album to them,” he said.

“I wish to prove them wrong. I have made serious progress over the years and believe the sky is the limit for my career.”

The Mangiza Clan frontman said he was overwhelmed by the turnout during the launch.

His musical journey began in 2018 with the release of his debut album “Zvidzidzo”.

The following year, he released “Tsvimbo Yachangamire”, before successively unleashing “Nhangaruvazhe”, “Mhoro Chete” and “Ngoma Yerwendo”.
