VICTORIA FALLS is set to come alive as Econet Wireless Zimbabwe brings together a mix of some of the biggest names in African music, alongside top local talent, for the high-energy Econet Buddie Beatz concert expected to cap off the 18th Econet Victoria Falls Marathon weekend on Sunday, July 5.

The concert, which will take place in the resort city following the marathon, will feature an outstanding line-up of local and international artistes, including Victoria Falls’ own celebrated Afro-fusion group Flying Bantu, South African Afro-pop giants Mafikizolo and Zimbabwean dancehall heavyweight Winky D, among others.

Adding to the festival atmosphere will be some of the country’s most sought-after DJs, including Sfiso, CeeJay and Chiweddar, who are expected to keep fans entertained with a mix of Afrobeat, dancehall, house and contemporary sounds.

Flying Bantu bring a distinctly Victoria Falls flavour to the line-up, showing off the creative energy and cultural diversity the resort town represents.

Known for blending traditional African influences with contemporary rhythms, the group has built a strong following through performances that celebrate Zimbabwean heritage while embracing modern global sounds. Their inclusion in the concert underscores the growing recognition of local talent and the important role of homegrown artistes in shaping the identity of destination events, such as the Econet Victoria Falls Marathon weekend.

The Buddie Beatz concert forms part of the Econet’s broader efforts to create memorable experiences around the Econet Victoria Falls Marathon, an event that has grown into one of country’s leading sporting and tourism attractions, drawing athletes, wellness enthusiasts, visitors and spectators from across the region and beyond.
