relax and enjoy the cool breezes from the dams within its vicinity.
Often called Nyavira Abattoir, the place, which boasts of fresh farm produce, an abattoir, bar and braai for those who love BBQs is perched on the hills of the farm where people can enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds.
Unlike most outdoor hangout where revellers are not allowed to bring their own picnics and drinks, at Nyavira it isn’t a big deal as you get to choose to bring your own food or just buy from the well stocked butchery at reasonably cheap prices.
There is also plenty to enjoy at the farm from cold drinks, fresh meat and other delicacies such as mazondo and matumbu.
There is also good music for those who love to dance and party. Previously, the hangout used to play host to weddings, corporate functions, church functions or just social gatherings.
“I love this place, it has everything you want from the drinks to scenic views,” Amanda Molai said.
Another reveller said the place had become one of the most sought after venues because it is quiet and outside Harare.
“The fact that you drive to this place makes the whole experience exciting. You can bring your family and enjoy a weekend outing,” Jairos Mudavanhu said.
Although the place recently opened, it has been a hive of activity in that some people stop by, not to have fun but to buy meat to take home.
There are plans to make the hangout a nightspot where music lovers can attend some live shows by Zimbabwean musicians.
