NEW: Four die after car crashes into road train

Four people died after a vehicle they were travelling in collided with a road train, along the Selous-Ngezi road in Chegutu on Tuesday.

In a statement, police said the fatal crash occurred at around 9pm.

“The ZRP reports a fatal road traffic accident in which four people died on the spot when a Volvo road train pulling three trailers was involved in a head on collision with a Toyota Corolla with four occupants on board on October 18, 2022 at around 9pm at the 21km peg along Selous-Ngezi road, Chegutu.”
