After a poor start to the Paramount Garments U-20 Rugby Premier League, FS Raiders recorded their second consecutive victory, when they beat bottom-placed Horns 66-11 at Harare Sports Club on Tuesday.
The win was FS Raiders’ second win of the season, after six rounds of matches in the league.
Their first win was Saturday’s 31-14 win over Zimbiru, at the same venue.
The back-to-back victories ended a four-game losing streak that had threatened to jeopardise their title hopes.
Pitbulls and Old Hararians, who are currently tussling for top spot on the eight-team league, continued with their fine form, as they also recorded convincing wins in Tuesday’s round of matches.
Pitbulls beat Northern Chiefs 54-13, while Old Hararians cruised past Harare Sports Club 34-6.
Old Georgians have remained in touching distance with the leading pack, recording a 60-0 win against Zimbiru.
Meanwhile, the ladies’ league returned to action after the weekend’s postponement.
Zimbiru’s ladies team continued with its fine run of form, as they beat Hatcliffe 54-7, while Old Georgians Women recorded a narrow 22-15 win over Harare Sports Club.
