Global pharmaceutical companies are keen to work with Zimbabwe to improve access to affordable quality medicines, according to the country’s biggest distributor of medical supplies to public health institutions, National Pharmaceutical Company (NatPharm), which is currently participating at an Arab Health Expo in Dubai.

The expo, which is designed to accelerate and inspire sustainable development in the healthcare industry, started on January 30.

“International manufacturers (are) keen to work with the State enterprise to improve access to affordable quality medicines in the country. Leaving no place and no one behind,” said NatPharm in a statement on Twitter.
