CHISUMBANJE-BASED Premiership hopefuls, GreenFuel continued with their fine start to the ZIFA Eastern Region Division One campaign after walloping Zaka Academy 8-0 over the weekend.

The thumping victory saw their unbeaten record remaining intact and retaining pole position in the process.

Their seasoned coach, Lloyd “Samaita” Mutasa is not getting carried away by the results and has urged his charges to keep the foot on the peddle.

“This is a promising start and there is still a lot of work to be done. The results are encouraging and will spur us on. We are taking each game as it comes,” he said.

Third-placed Mutare City Rovers snatched a point away to Grayham following a 0-0 stalemate, while Buhera-based Nzuma Bar went down 3-0 at Masvingo United.

Buffaloes and Manica Dimaonds Juniors shared the spoils as the Sakubva Derby finished 1-1.
