New home for Zanu-pf Masvingo province

George Maponga in Masvingo
Zanu-PF has acquired permanent offices in Masvingo for $80 000 to be used as its provincial headquarters.
The development will see the revolutionary party operating from its own offices having relied on donated premises or leasing since independence in 1980.

Before purchasing the new premises, Zanu-pf used offices donated by businessman and politician Cde Eddison Zvobgo Jnr. Zanu-pf Masvingo acting provincial chairman Cde Paradzai Chakona yesterday said the new provincial headquarters would be officially opened soon.

“We are currently doing touch-ups at our new offices that we have bought so that we have a permanent home befitting the status of our party.

“Zanu-pf is a revolutionary party with a history of promoting self-reliance and we felt it was high time that we have a place that we call our own,’’ he said.
