The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education yesterday handed over three brand new vehicles to the Management Training Bureau (MTB).

The vehicles were donated by the Indian Government to the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education under the Indo-Zim Project as a key enabler of Education 5.0.
The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education has reconfigured its education system from Education 3.0 to Education 5.0 as the country focuses on the necessary means and capabilities for achieving Vision 2030.
Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education Professor Amon Murwira applauded India for the initiative.
“The three handed over vehicles are part of the four vehicles in total that the Ministry shall receive. We are also grateful for the high-tech modern equipment received by our technology centres in Harare and Bulawayo.
“The Indo-Zim Centres shall contribute to the industrialisation and modernisation of Zimbabwe,” said Professor Murwira.

India Ambassador to Zimbabwe Mr Vijay Khanduja said Zimbabwe and India have a unique and longstanding relationship.
“The bedrock of our relationship is mutual trust and respect. India’s development assistance is geared towards meeting the requirements of Zimbabwe.
“During the visit of the Vice President in November 2018, a memorandum of understanding was signed and the Government of India pledged developmental aid of the order of US$500 million,” said Mr Khanduja.
