NEW: Jacob Ngarivhume convicted

TRANSFORM Zimbabwe leader  Jacob Ngarivhume, who was facing charges of inciting public violence,  has been convicted.

He was accused of encouraging members of the public to join an unsanctioned demonstration sometime in 2020.

Ngarivhume was convicted after a full trial before Harare regional magistrate Mrs Feresi Chakanyuka.

He is expected back in court tomorrow for sentencing.
