NEW: Juvenile caught up in stock theft crime

A 16-year-old boy is among five suspects that have been arrested for stock theft in Neshangwe Village, Sadza. 

The five reportedly stole seven cattle from a 91-year-old. 

The arrested suspects are Naboth Chigwanda (39), Chiedzo Masvaure (58), Morden Mudoti (33), Tatenda Mutaramumu, and the juvenile (16). 

Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident. 

“The suspects stole seven cattle from a complainant who is 91 and police recovered two cattle from some of the suspects’ homes and two more stolen cattle from Neshangwe Village, Sadza where they had been sold,” he said.
