NEW: Kuredza Technical Primary School lauded for vocational subjects

Mashonaland West Bureau

PRIMARY and Secondary Education Minister Torerayi Moyo has lauded Kuredza Government Technical Primary School in Kadoma for spearheading vocational subjects.

He urged other schools to rally behind the Government’s heritage-based education, which emphasises academic and vocational learning.

Minister Moyo said this during a field day and classroom block handover ceremony at the school on Tuesday morning.

The classroom block was donated by The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints.

The school has made a name for itself in agriculture and other projects that have seen it realise extra revenue.

It is one of the few technical primary schools in the country.
