Sungura music icon Nicholas “Madzibaba” Zakaria, the once energetic frontman of Khiama Boys, has received a significant shot in the arm in his ongoing battle against diabetes, hypertension and cramps.

Former Health and Child Care Minister Dr Obadiah Moyo extended a helping hand, gifting Zakaria with much-needed medication and arranging for a team of doctors to provide him with free medical assistance whenever necessary.

Dr Moyo was accompanied by Dr Shongo from Chitungwiza Central Hospital and Chitungwiza ZANU PF central committee member Cde Goodwill Mafuratidze when he handed over the medicines.

Last year, we reported on Madzibaba’s ill health.

At that time, the singer’s wife, Margaret Gweshe, also appealed for help to assist her ailing husband.
